I am really walking into 2023 in my 7th year in business! I’m so excited about how far we’ve come and how far we will go.

Lord knows this journey did not come without it’s fair share of challenges. I had a lot of wins, and took a lot of L’s. I wanted to (even tried to) throw in the towel more than once, and God threw it right back. I’m so glad He did.

I knew when I got into this business I wanted to stand out and set myself apart. I did not want to be compared to the places where you can just walk in, be a number, and not hear from me again until the following year. I researched and found out what people complained about or desired most in an accountant. They said:

Someone who returns my calls (biggest complaint)

Someone who can advise me and educate me on how taxes work

Someone who is available and can give me tax strategies throughout the year

Someone who will file my returns accurately and on time

These are all things we pride ourselves on here at KNK Tax and Accounting Services, including but not limited to saving our clients thousands of dollars.

As we all know change comes with growth, and you cannot grow without change. To better serve our clients and operate in a more organized, less stressful manner, we are making the following changes for the upcoming tax season:

1) We are no longer accepting new clients that are W2 only. If you are an existing client, we will continue to file your taxes. If we’ve already spoken and I agreed to file your taxes, you are good to go as well.

2) We are only accepting new business clients who sign up for our accounting services. This includes Single Member LLCs, Corporations, and Partnerships.

3) We are only filing business tax returns if we do your books, or you were referred to us by one of our trusted CPA/accountant partners.

These changes will allow us to eliminate many of the challenges we face during tax season. The IRS is also starting to scrutinize businesses and the way you operate a lot more. These changes will help us make sure our clients are prepared as well as ourselves.
