Choosing a photographer or cinematographer is one of the most important decisions of the wedding planning process. You want to be sure you find someone you’re comfortable with because they’ll be with you the entire day. This is both an honor and responsibility we don't take lightly.
My husband and I had seen some photographers we were interested in prior to formally planning our wedding. We expressed to our planner, Elana Walker of Elana Walker Events, how we wanted quality but we were also sticking to our budget. Her package presentation and prior work caught our attention and after our first meeting with her, we were sold! She worked diligently to understand our vision, assist us with ideas to accomplish looks, and talked us through our nerves during our engagement shoot. True dedication, as we were racing against time to get what many people called our “money shot” as the skyline was behind us and the sun was setting.
I also had a bridal portrait session and Cynthia made magic happen! I was nervous, anxious, and just out of my element altogether at the start of the shoot. The photos speak for themselves but I literally could not believe was able to make me look like not only a bride but a wife. She gave me advice that ultimately helped me deliver on wedding day with ease. If we had to choose again, there’d be no question! I will support, promote, and refer her company every chance I get.
Cynthia and her husband, Terance, worked so seamlessly together creating looks and capturing moments we will cherish for a lifetime! She is professional, witty, and has an eye for executing the assignment. Most importantly, to us, she’s like family.
